A recent picture of me

Starting at UT Austin Fall 2026

I will be moving to UT Austin Oden Institute and Department of Neuroscience. Feel free to contact me via email

Research Topics

Machine learning, theoretical/computational neuroscience, high dimensional statistics and optimization.

Background

I am starting as an assistant professor at UT Austin in Fall 2026. Before that, I spent a year as a postdoctoral research fellow at Harvard Center for Mathematical Sciences and Applications (CMSA). In May 2025, I defended my PhD in Applied Math at Harvard where I worked with Pehlevan Group. My research interests lie in the convex hull of machine learning, statistical physics, and theoretical neuroscience. Before graduate school, I studied physics, engineering, and computer science at Washington University in St. Louis.

My works can be found on Google Scholar. I also occasionally post new preprints on twitter.
